North American Generic Sales & Marketing
Generic products are marketed in the U.S. and Puerto Rico through
an integrated sales and marketing team that includes a national accounts sales force. Sales force activities are supported
by a marketing and customer service organization in the Company's New Jersey offices. The U.S. customer base for Barr's
generic products includes drug store chains, supermarket chains, mass merchandisers, wholesalers, distributors, managed
care organizations, mail order accounts, government/military and repackagers.
Products are marketed in Canada through distribution agreements with third parties.
